- UniFi Identity WiFi Band: UniFi AP currently supports two frequency bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. In the near future, we will launch the U6-Enterprise, which will support the upcoming 6 GHz standard and provide the fastest possible WiFi speed. Here's an explanation of the two frequency bands:
- 2.4 GHz: Delivers slower speeds and is more prone to interference, but can broadcast signals over longer distances due to better penetration through solid objects.
- 5 GHz: Delivers faster speeds and has less network congestion because there are more available channels. However, some older devices may not be compatible with this band.
- Security Protocol: UniFi Identity currently supports WPA-2 Enterprise and WPA-3 Enterprise.
- Enable the IoT WiFi and Guest WiFi and configure their settings as needed.
- Click Continue > OK.
