Article Summary

IoT WiFi uses the WPA2-PPSK security policy to authenticate devices, which reduces the risk of password leaks and unauthorized access to the network. The implementation involves assigning a unique password to each device. This means that if a password is leaked, it can be isolated and addressed without compromising the entire network's security.

Device Version Requirements

  • UniFi Access Point (UAP): v5.71 or later.
  • UniFi Identity Agent: v1.42.3+1545 or later.
  • UniFi Host: v1.9.3 or later.
