Manage VPN Settings

  1. Log in to UID.
  2. Go to Applications > UID Manager Portal.
  3. Select a site from the drop-down menu in the top-left corner.
  4. Go to Dashboard.
  5. Click One-click VPN.
  6. Click View VPN Settings to open the network properties page.
  7. You can perform any of the following tasks on this page:

Monitor UID VPN Activity
  1. Click Overview.
  2. You can monitor the following:
    • Assigned Users: The number of active UID VPN users.
    • Monthly Active Users: The number of active users accessing the UID VPN each month.
    • VPN Server: The UID VPN server's IP address.
    • Deployment: The UniFi OS Console hosting UID VPN.
    • Connections: The number of VPN connections per day, week, or month. Click 1D, 1W, or 1M to select your desired timeframe.
    • Recent Connection: Details about recent VPN connections.
    • Most Active Users: A list of the most-frequent UID VPN users.
Edit UID VPN Settings
  1. Click Settings.
  2. Edit any of these settings:
    • VPN Name
    • VPN Server
    • Outer VPN Port
    • Protocol
    • UDP
    • Gateway IP/Subnet
    • DNS Server
    • Default DNS Suffix
    • Custom Routing
    • Maximum Connection Time

Activate a UID VPN The UID VPN is activated by default. The Activate option will only appear if the network has been previously deactivated.
Deactivate a UID VPN
  1. Click Active to open the drop-down menu.
  2. Select Deactivate.
Delete a UID VPN You need to deactivate your VPN first because only the deactivated VPN can be deleted.
  1. Click the Active button.
  2. Select Deactivate from the drop-down menu. The VPN status is now Deactivated.
  3. Click the Deactivated button.
  4. Select Delete from the drop-down menu.
  5. Confirm to proceed and click Delete.
