Previously, only the users assigned as admins on the UniFi Protect application can view and edit cameras. Now, Protect Camera Sharing allows you to grant any UniFi Identity user, including a non-admin user, permission to view a camera or camera group. You can set granular control over who can view which camera on their Identity mobile app.
What Are Its Benefits?
A Shared Camera System for Everyone
Companies of all sizes nowadays have heightened their physical security awareness to prevent internal and external physical security threats. But the workload of administrators can be overwhelming if they are the only personnel with access to surveillance cameras. Protect Camera Sharing eases the burden by allowing non-admin users to access cameras. This gives every employee the responsibility to safeguard company assets and prevent intruders, theft, and other damages in the workplace.
Better User Experience
Users can view cameras or camera groups on their Identity mobile app. UniFi Identity SSO is also supported for quick and easy access. Keeping an eye on workplace safety can be that easy.
Flexible Camera Assignment
Workspace owners can assign cameras or camera groups to any workspace users, adding flexibility to workplace management.
